Meet on the front porch of the Inn for our annual run, followed by a delicious breakfast spread in the Dining Room. The run is free, and breakfast is $25 per person.

Dr. David Ratzan is Director of the NYU Amheida Excavations. For the last 25 years, Columbia and NYU have excavated the site in Egypt’s Dakhla Oasis, some 400 miles west of the Nile River valley in one the most inhospitable deserts on Earth. David will share what has been unearthed and what that has taught us about the economy and society of the Roman Empire from an outpost at its furthest edge.
Followed by an Egyptian - inspired dinner in the Tavern.

We need drivers! If you or someone you know can drive and can handle a manual transmission, let me know!
A sandwich bar and refreshments will follow a short parade (from Shin Creek to the Falls and back) at the Lew Beach Community House (on Shin Creek Road). Feel free to watch from Beaverkill Road and meet us at the community house afterward.

Yoga with Ananda Adams
Yoga with Ananda Adams will be held on Saturday August 30th at 11am, outside weather permitting. Class will be approx. 1 hour and is appropriate for all levels. Bring a mat if you have one- there will also be some available. $25 payable directly to Ananda.
