Our Guide to the Best Fall Farmers Markets in the Catskills

The secret is out - the Catskills are the best place to be in the fall. Mild weather, beautiful foliage, an endless supply of great restaurants, breweries, and festivals - there’s no place we’d rather be this season.

With so many farms in our region, our Farmers Markets are always filled to the brim with fresh produce, flowers, and other wares.

Here’s our guide to the best Farmers Markets in the Catskills for this fall:

Friday Farmer’s Markets in the Catskills:

Liberty Farmer’s Market

Operated by Catskill Mountainkeeper, enjoy this Farmer’s Market every Friday from June 18th - September 17th from 3:00 to 6:00pm, rain or shine, at Creekside Park in Liberty. Find locally grown meat, eggs, cheese, flowers, vegetables, honey, and more.

Saturday Farmer’s Markets in the Catskills:

Rock Hill Farmer’s Market

For perusing Farmer’s Markets on a Saturday, check out the Rock Hill Farmer’s Market. They’re open Saturdays from 10-1 from June 5- September 25, rain or shine, at 223 Rock Hill Drive, Rock Hill NY.

Sunday Farmer’s Markets in the Catskills:

Livingston Manor Farmer’s Market

We’ll start in our own backyard, with the Livingston Manor Farmer’s Market. This market is open every Sunday from 10-2 through October 17. It’s right on Main Street - you can’t miss it. Find fresh & local produce, baked goods, flowers, meat, cheese, jams, jellies, plants & more. When you’re done perusing the market, check out local shops and enjoy a cup of coffee near the river.

Callicoon Farmers Market

This Market has been running since 2000, and is a staple in the region for the best local produce and other wares. Callicoon is a ‘producer only market’ meaning all vendors either grow or produce their own goods and operate within 75 miles ensuring patrons are only purchasing the freshest, highest quality, locally produced goods. You can find it at Callicoon Creek Park, year round, rain or shine, every Sunday from 11-2.

Bethel Woods Harvest Festival

Throughout September, this farmers market at the original site of the Woodstock Festival is the place to find specialty food items, unique finds from Catskills artisans, food trucks, live music, and more. It’s on Sundays from 11-4 from August 29-October 3. Entry is free, parking is $5.

Jeffersonville Farmer’s Market

This Farmer’s Market runs Sundays through 10/31 at Jeffersonville Bake Shop (the big pink building - you can’t miss it). Enjoy local fare from 10 AM - 1 PM, and don’t miss the local antique shops and restaurants on Main Street, too.
