The Beaverkill River is considered the birthplace of American dry-fly fishing. Forty-five tributaries flow into the Beaverkill along its 25 mile journey from headwaters to the Delaware River. More than half of its 65,000 acre watershed is designated "forever wild" forest preserve.
American fly-fishing pioneers like Lee Wulff, and Theodore Gordon before him, valued the Beaverkill for the quality of the fishing and the incredible natural beauty of the area.
Inn Guests have access to one mile of private river from April 1st to October 15th. Stream Club members have access to six miles. Surrounding areas abound with fantastic fishing on public waters, some year round, to which we can provide directions.
